The “fire-breathing guitar hero” as he was dubbed by the U.S. press… Latin GRAMMY winner, guitar composer & revolutionary, TWANGUERO is coming back along with accompanying musicians Moses Baqueiro (BASS), Bob Bernstein (PEDAL STEEL), Danilo Torres (DRUMS) & Isaac Rodriguez (PERCUSSION) to the Corazon Performing Arts space SATURDAY MARCH 9th, 2019!! Twanguero is a double Latin Grammy© winner, songwriter and virtuoso guitarist, serving up a “rockabilly mambo” of blues, rock, Flamenco and Latin Twang for a genre-mashing experience with his trio that is playful, slinky, cool and a little haunting all at the same time. His style has become known internationally for his particular Twang sound that oscillates between Spanish guitar, American folk, flamenco and tango, and for his impeccable mastery of fingerpicking.

Known for his work with flamenco cantaor Diego El Cigala, TWANGUERO launched his successful solo career after years of accompanying Latin music giants such as Bunbury, Calamaro, El Cigala, and others. He has achieved major accomplishments in the last couple years: memorable albums such as his latest, PACHUCO and ARGENTINE SONGBOOK (Warner Music), and has toured Spain, Mexico, America from South to North and other parts of the world. TWANGUERO has received excellent reviews and become an International Gibson and Bigsby artist.
TWANGUERO (Diego Garcia) has played and recorded with artists of the likes of Andrés Calamaro, Santiago Auserón, Diego El Cigala, Juanes, Wyclef Jean, Jaime Urrutia, Fito Páez, Enrique Bunbury, Ely Guerra, Raphael, Camilo Sesto, Ana Torroja, José María Cano, Yerbabuena, Adriana Varela and Diego Torres, and has participated in a multitude of productions for TV, Original Soundtraks of Cinema and Radio in Spain, Argentina, United States and Mexico.
MOISES BAQUEIRO Baqueiro, a rock en Español “All Stars” bassist on the L.A. club scene, is famous for his work with Los Abandoned and as a touring member with Ceci Bastida and Ximena Sariñana.
BRIAN GRIFFIN is a deeply collaborative sideman with an encyclopedic knowledge of rock, soul and funk who has recorded with a constellation of singers over years of studio work and has performed at innumerable festivals.
DANILO TORRES percussionist, is a former member of the Chicano rock band Quetzal from East L.A., who has also performed with Tribe of Gypsies.
His albums released to date: Octopus, Twanguero, The Brooklyn Session, Argentina Songbook, Pachuco and Electric Sunset.
